The official Czech Language State Exam
Since the 1st of September, 2014 every student of Prague Education Centre has the opportunity to get a dual Czech language certificate:
- The official Czech Language State Exam, which can only be run by special Czech language schools established by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic is registered on the list of schools (P.E.C. is included).
- Certified examination according to the method of CEFR (B1-C2 levels)
Since the 1 st of September 2014 P.E.C. has been extending this certification system of language knowledge. From the beginning of the 2014/2015 academic year, besides our own system of knowledge evaluation and the system of evaluation according to the European language portfolio Centre, the system of state certification has been introduced according to resolution of the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic No 33/2005 СЗ.
Apart from the fact that P.E.C. has the right to hold examinations of the Czech language, we are also allowed to run examinations of all European languages.
Who can run The official Czech Language State Exam?
According to the legislation of the Czech Republic the right to run state language examinations can only be held by those schools which are certificated by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic. Only a limited number of higher education institutions and private schools in the Czech Republic are allowed to run The official Czech Language State Exam. Prague Education Centre is included in that list of schools.
